| What is Hosteling? Hosteling is a way of travel. Extremely popular among backpackers and adventurous travelers, hostels provide an alternative to the sterile hotel/motel experience. Generally, hostels consist of private accommodations, as well as dormitory style sleeping. We believe hosteling is one of the best ways to experience Florida - it allows you to interact with travelers from all over the world, learn about local attractions and history, and create a centralized location to begin your spring break partying! |
| Where does the Spring Break Road Trip begin? Your trip begins at 10:00a.m. in Miami's South Beach at The South Beach Hostel, located at 235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach, FL, 33139. Call 305-672-2137 or visit www.thesouthbeachhostel.com for further information on location or to book arrangements before and after your Spring Break Road Trip. |
| What are the sleeping arrangements? As we mentioned above, we stay at campgrounds and hostels during most of the Spring Break Road Trip. In some cases, you will share a room with one other person. In other cases, you may share a room with up to seven people. And at times, it might be co-ed lodging. For couples and passengers traveling alone, we may be able to arrange private accommodations with advance notice. An additional fee will be required. |
|
What is included in the price of my Spring Break Road Trip?
Everything! Well, nearly everthing... the price includes 1) seven nights
accommodations, 2) local transportation while in Florida (excluding
airfare and airport pick-up/drop-off), 3) service of a tour leader,
4) entrance fees to state and national parks, 5) entrance fee to one
Orlando theme park, 6) airboat tour in the Everglades, and 7) snorkeling
excursion in Key Largo's John Pennekamp State Park. |
| What is a Food Kitty? The food kitty is a communal bank that we use to purchase food and drinks while on the Spring Break Road Trip. Generally, we purchase snacks for the road, breakfast items, lunches for bar-b-que and beachside sandwiches, and drinks. We recommend a $30-35 contribution for the week, though the group can increase/decrease this amount based on mutual agreement. |
| Do you offer an early booking discount? Yes. If you book before January 15th, we will take $100 off the cost of your Spring Break Road Trip. |
| If I sign-up friends, can I go on a Spring Break Road Trip for free? Yes. If you have a group of thirteen people, we will give you one free trip. |
| What do I need to do to prepare for my Spring Break Road Trip? You need to do three key tasks to prepare for your trip. First, book your Spring Break Road Trip via our secure online booking form or call us at 888-Treks-FL. Second, purchase airfare into Miami International Airport or Ft. Lauderdale International Airport (we provide detailed information on our website). And finally, reserve accommodations in the event you plan to arrive the Friday night before your Spring Break Road Trip or stay the Saturday night following your Spring Break Road Trip. |
| How do we travel between locations? We hit the road in a fifteen passenger van. Tinted windows, CD/DVD player, and a customized roof luggage rack allow us to travel in style. Your tour leader does all the driving, and will make sure to get you to all the attractions on your Spring Break Road Trip. |

What if I want to party until 4:00am everynight, sleep in until 11:00am, and lounge on the beach all day? Our Spring Break Road Trips offer more than just parties. They are definitely designed to maximize your partying capabilities, but we are more than just your typical spring break experience. Based on our itineraries, we do follow a flexible schedule - though some days we will have to wake up early to get to our next destination. The good news... you can sleep in the van en route to our next destination. So, if you want to experience the Florida spring break madness and explore off the beaten path locales, than book your trip now! |
| Do we get to experience more than just Florida's beaches and clubs? Of course, our Spring Break Road Trips are designed to place you at the center of all of Florida's best spring break destinations, and they also take you to more natural settings, small towns, and national/state parks. |
| Can I drink in the van? Absolutely not. Any alcohol that you purchase along the way must be kept in our coolers on the roof rack while we are en route to our destinations. Also note that drugs are strictly prohibited, and any passenger found in possession or under the influence of drugs will be prohibited from remaining on the road trip. |
