Q: Do you have a minimum or maximum age restriction?
A: No. Our tours are open to all ages. While a majority of our passengers range between 18 and 35 years old, we travel with the young and young at heart. Parental permission required if under 18.
Q: How many passengers do you take on your treks?
A: All of our tours are operated for 13 passengers, plus a tour leader. We believe that small-group travel has many benefits – flexibility in the tour itinerary, the ability to visit the less “touristy” areas, and the chance to meet new friends and learn about their cultures. In addition, our tour vehicle is built to seat 15 people, so that means more room for you!!
Q: What happens if a hurricane is going to hit Florida, do you still run the tours?
A: It is rare for a hurricane to affect the running of our tours. We have alternate tour routes available in the event we have to modify the itinerary, and since our tour leaders grew up in Florida they can ensure that any change to the itinerary will be just as good as the original plan. Nevertheless, sometimes a hurricane may cause us to cancel a tour departure – in which case, you should make sure to have adequate travel insurance to cover potential cancellation. In the event we do cancel a tour, we will be happy to offer you another one at a future date.
Q: Do you require a minimum number of passengers for each tour?
A: Yes. All of our tours operate with at least 5-6 passengers. In the unlikely event your tour does not have the requisite number of passengers to operate, we will notify you and give you the option of selecting a different tour or being refunded your tour price.
Q: What is your refund policy, if any?
A: Our refund policy is outlined in our Booking Terms. Depending on when you cancel your tour, you will be refunded a percentage of your tour price less a $200 security deposit fee. If, however, you cancel within 28 days from your tour departure date, your full payment will be non-refundable.
