Food & Dining

Our tours offer you an opportunity to sample many locally-grown fruits and vegetables, as well as experience good ‘ole Florida cooking. One of the greatest benefits to the Florida Adventure Treks travel style is our ability to stop off at greenmarkets, orange groves, and supermarkets – through a group food kitty of $35-$40 dollars each per week, we will be able to shop for some of the meals that we will eat while on tour – this generally covers breakfast, lunch, and some dinners (except our Comfort Tours, where it generally covers lunch). Of course, you are free to eat out as you’d like. All of our tours come with a fully equipped kitchen, ready for us to cook up some five-star dishes!

And, there will also be ample opportunity to have meals out – at the theme parks in Orlando, on our way down to Key West on the Overseas Highway, while in Miami’s Little Havana, and of course, during the morning bakery stop. Your tour leader will make sure to point you in the right direction for special treats that are native to Florida!
